President Goodluck Jonathan has notified the House of Representatives of his government’s intention to obtain a loan to fight insurgency in parts of the country.In a letter sent to the House of Reps and read during Wednesday’s plenary session, it was pointed out that the Federal Government intends to source for an external loan to the tune of $ 1 billion (N 165bn).The President said the money would be used for the upgrading of the equipment of the armed forces.
