Marco Reus will be an exciting signing for Liverpool

Liverpool have shown their intentions for next season with some great signings made throughout the summer so far and it doesn’t look like they are going to stop there.


One player they have been rumoured to show an interest in is Marco Reus and it would be an excellent move for him to prove what he can do in the English Premier League.


The German would offer Liverpool great strengths in retaining the ball as he is one of the best dribblers in the world and his control is brilliant. His attacking style of play would fit into the philosophy that Brendan Rodgers has at Liverpool and the way he takes players on, would bring a great dimension to the Reds team. He can be a real nightmare for defenders once he begins to carry the ball at pace. Reus has great acceleration, which would give Liverpool an extra punch when pushing forward and his movement is excellent.


With Luis Suarez at Barcelona, Liverpool have to find goals from somewhere else and Reus knows where the goal is. He managed 30 goals in 62 appearances over the last two seasons and his ability to play on the wing and as an attacking midfielder gives Rodgers plenty of options. He would be a great player to link up with the likes of Adam Lallana, Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard and his footballing know-how is brilliant. However, what he lacks in strength he makes up for with agility and this is what would make him an exciting addition to the Liverpool team.


The current players will love playing with him and the Liverpool fans will love to see someone just like him gracing the pitch at Anfield
