Matt Damon and Ben Affleck pay tribute to man who 'made their dreams come true'


MATT Damon has joined the legions of other celebrities and paid his respects to the late Robin Williams.Robin was considered instrumental in getting Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's film 'Good Will Hunting' made – something the two stars will never forget.Robin starred alongside a fresh-faced Matt Damon in 1997 blockbuster smash-hit 'Good Will Hunting' [Wenn]Speaking of Robin's sudden and shocking death, Matt said:"Robin brought so much joy into my life and I will carry that joy with me forever."He was such a beautiful man. I was lucky to know him and I will never, ever forget him."The film, for which Robin won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar, was a break-out role for both Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, who penned the screenplay.Showing both his sadness and gratitude to the late comedian, Ben Affleck said: "He made Matt and my dreams come true. What do you owe a guy who does that? Everything.

The park bench in Boston where Matt and Robin filmed one of the most iconic and moving scenes from the film has been turned into a make-shift shrine to the talented actor.Flowers have been left along with quotes from the film.Minnie Driver, another star of the Oscar-winning film, also paid tribute to her former co-star.She said: "I loved him, and I will miss him greatly.
