2Face Idibia will release his sixth solo album later this month. The album is entitled the Ascension.
Two weeks ago, Tubaba released a single entitled “Go”, his second single from the Ascension album. The song features Machel Montano, a Trinidadian Soca singer, record producer and songwriter with a career that spans over 30 years. The result of his musical pairing with Machel is a catchy, upbeat song with explosive lyrics.
The album, which includes 16-pages of expertly crafted artwork was developed by Imole “Tobbie” Balogun.
The Ascension, premium edition, will soon be announced for pre-order and the digital album for sale on Spinlet.
2Face and Machel performed the “Go” track at the 18th annual St. Kitts Music Festival held last Thursday to Saturday.
Other performers include Grammy award-winning artists Deniece Williams and Bill Champlin, along with legendary performers Boby Kimball, Paul Peress, Tessanne Chin, Beenie Man and Chronixx
