TMZ reports that Chris Brown and Chris Drake put aside their differences to work on some music together because they realized how much money they could rake in by doing so.
The two have come to blows in the past, with their entourages fighting at the W.i.P. nightclub in New York City in 2012. The fight was allegedly over Rihanna. However, the two artists now apparently realize they can make more money together than separately.
Drake and Brown are now in the studio recording tracks for Brown's new album. Drake will reportedly perform with Brown on some of the songs, and Drake will also be the producer. The bonus for Brown is that he will continue to be affiliated with Young Money for possible future collaborations with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. In addition, Tyga (also part of Young Money) was in the studio with Drake and Brown this week.
Brown and Drake also think they will sell more albums because people will try to pick their lyrics apart to see if they are talking about Rihanna, who they have both dated, or what the catalyst was for their nightclub brawl.
